its held on with barbed/bayonet clips which fit into rectangular housing depending how brittle these have become over time you may break the odd side off

bayonets on case on left above rectangular housings on right - only way is to prise it off

Hi - on this subject I'm about to attempt to replace a whole non-electric n/s mirror with a replacement electric one from ebay - is there an easy and simple guide to getting the old one off and fitting the new one? - presuming an electric one will still fit!
